Introduction

Description

This simple plugin allows you to play audio during dialogue or with messages.

To setup and use, simply:

  1. Copy the downloaded script file and paste it into your Bakin project's "script" folder (create this folder if it doesn't exist)
  2. When you create a new event in your project, assign the script (in the lower left corner)
  3. Create a local string variable inside the event and set the value to the name of the audio you want to play (it doesn't have to be a local variable if you want don't want it to be)
  4. Add a "Call C# Program" command to your event and select the QueueAudio option from the drop down menu
  5. Set the value for the Call C# Program to be the string variable you set on step 3
  6. Add your Message/Conversation command

When the message/conversation is displayed, it will automatically play the specified audio.

In addition to choosing which audio to play, there's additional options too:

  • StopAudioPlayback - Simply stops the script from playing any audio even if there's one queued up
  • SetVolume - Sets the audio's volume. Defaults to 75%
  • SetTempo - Sets the tempo/pitch. Defaults to 100%
  • IgnoreMessages - By default, the script will look out for either conversations or messages. If you specifically just want to play audio for conversations, you can toggle this option
