I bet you thought this game was dead...


Believe me, the game is very much alive and I've been hard at work finishing up the next major update.

It's very close to being done. I just need to add NPC's to the areas and change how the start of the game works slightly.

Wanna know why? I've added some new features to the game!

Some of these will all be explained better during the game's tutorial (which is one of the things I'll be adding to the start of the game) however, here's a quick run down of some of the new features you can expect when 0.5 rolls out:

  • Revamped Options screen - It's not uncommon for gamers to view the options screen before they actually delve into a game. With that being said, I've changed the layout and options available in the "Options" area to make it easier to use and more visually pleasing.
  • Better Battle Results - Currently, you get some basic information like who's levelled up, the amount of gold you get etc. The new version does a lot of the same but gives you some GUI gold with it too to make it looker better by showing an animated exp bar, better/more information about what's been received or dropped as well as any new skills members of the party have learned!
  • Stat Allocation - Each time you level up, your base stats will increase slightly. Now however, you ALSO gain AP (or Ability Points) when levelling up. These points can be spent in the menu to increase different stats based on your class.
  • Enemy HP - Ever wondered how much HP the enemy has left? Well wonder no more. Once you've defeated an enemy for the first time, you'll be able to see how much HP they have left!
  • Turn Order - Don't you just hate how you can't make a good battle strategy because you don't know who's turn is coming up next? Well now you have a turn order window letting you know exactly who's turns are coming up.
  • Party Status - While in battle, you'll be able to view information about your party as well as any potential states they have and the details about said states.

There's been a TON of work being put into this game so bare with me a bit longer.

I'm not going to put a time-scale on 0.5's release date as since this is a passion project, I simply don't know if/when I will have time to work on the game.
