This game is actually made with 'Smile Game Builder', and with the additional 'DLC - Unity Exporter' that allows you to add additional stuff to your game. I don't know why the developer decided to not state that in the 'More Information'.
It's because Smile Game Builder isn't an engine you can select on Itch.io's list of engines.
So the most appropriate one in its place was Unity.
ah okay. Well, i'll play this later today, see what it's like. IS it a full game or just a demo?
It's a demo but development is on hold right now so it might stay that way for a while
